Spirituality Study by NEOMED Researchers Resurfaces

When do patients feel that it’s appropriate for physicians to ask about their spirituality or religious beliefs?

Questions around this topic are timeless, or so it would seem. “Discussing Spirituality with Patients: A Rational and Ethical Approach,” written by NEOMED faculty members and published in the Annals of Family Medicine in July 2004, was mentioned in a March 13 CNN health post titled “Does Spirituality Belong at the Doctor’s Office?”
