Simulation Enhanced Interprofessional Education
Interprofessional education is the process by which individuals from two or more health professions learn with, from, and about each other across the spectrum of their education to improve collaboration, practice, and the quality of healthcare.
Simulation Enhanced Interprofessional Education (Sim-IPE)
Through collaborations and partnerships with regional university and college health professions education programs, the Wasson Center leads simulation enhanced IPE healthcare team trainings. These programs teach the knowledge, skills, and attitudes necessary to become clinically competent providers that practice culturally congruent care with a team-based collaborative practice approach.
