Coordinating Centers of Excellence
In partnership with Peg’s Foundation, the vision of NEOMED’s Department of Psychiatry in the College of Medicine — through the Coordinating Centers of Excellence — is to serve as a national model for disseminating state-of-the-art programs and practices that promote recovery and improve the lives of individuals with schizophrenia and other mental illnesses — as well as the lives of those around them.

Northeast Ohio Area Health Education Center
The Northeast Ohio Area Health Education Center is committed to growing healthier communities through increasing the number of students and residents trained to advance community health in areas with a shortage of health care professionals and in medically underserved communities in Northeast Ohio.
Wasson Center for Clinical Skills
The Wasson Center for Clinical Skills Training, Assessment, and Scholarship is a state-of-the-art simulation facility that allows NEOMED students and other health care professionals from around the region to train and practice individual and interprofessional clinical skills.
