REDIzone inspires NEOMED researchers to move their work beyond the lab
Northeast Ohio Medical University’s Research, Entrepreneurship, Discovery and Innovation Zone (REDIzone®) is helping researchers move their ideas from the lab to commercialization.
Karen Farkas of Crain’s Cleveland Business recently sat down with Elliot Reed, executive director of the REDIZone®, to learn more about their successes, impact in biotechnology commercialization, and plans for the future.
The REDIZone® is a public-private partnership on the campus of NEOMED that offers state-of-the art wet lab space and facilities, office and conference spaces, world class scientists, technology and technology transfer operations and access to teaching hospitals, business development and funding resources.
