OSMA Shines Spotlight on NEOMED Alumnus
John A. Bastulli, M.D. (’83), was recently featured in an online member spotlight by the Ohio State Medical Association.
Dr. Bastulli is president and managing partner of Cleveland Anesthesia Group, which provides anesthesia and pain management services to several Cleveland-area clinics. He also is physician anesthesiologist and medical director for NEOMED’s Master of Medical Science in Anesthesia program and clinical assistant professor of surgery in the College of Medicine.
Asked what he sees as some of the biggest issues facing health care in the coming year, Dr. Bastulli replied, “The pandemic placed social determinants of health care front and center. On behalf of a healthier Ohio, we must continue to focus upon the quadruple aim: management of population health; experience of care; cost containment; and physician well-being.”
