Monthly Drive-Up Foodbank Begins March 28 at NEOMED

Community members in need are invited to visit a drive-up food pantry at NEOMED that will operate from noon till 2 p.m. on the fourth Monday of every month, starting March 28 through August 22. The initiative is a new partnership with the Akron-Canton Regional Foodbank. Members of a variety of student organizations at NEOMED will take turns helping to distribute the food from an outdoor pop-up pantry located behind the Library Depot on campus (see location in Google Maps).

Guests will be directed to enter campus via Loretta Drive and to remain in their vehicles while students place the groceries in their trunks. Signs will be posted on pantry days to mark the routes and help other drivers avoid traffic associated with the pickup station.

Staff from the Akron-Canton Regional Foodbank will provide the food and manage the registration process.
