Internship Opportunity for Medicine, Pharmacy, Business and Law Students

A new, on-campus internship at Northeast Ohio Medical University offers medicine, pharmacy, business and law students the opportunity to learn from regional experts in medical innovation.

The REDIzone® Future MedTech Entrepreneur Internship is supported by a grant from the Burton D. Morgan Foundation to expand the REDIzone® commercialization program at NEOMED.

The internship will begin June 10 and run through July 26. Selected interns will receive up to a $3,000 stipend.

Throughout the course of the two-month internship, students will attend two weeks of comprehensive in-class instruction that includes experts in medical innovation and commercialization; review competitive early-stage medical technology presentations and present findings to the investment committees; and work in teams to identify promising technologies from the region and pitch the technology to economic development professionals.

The deadline to apply is April 8.
