The Ohio Program for Campus Safety and Mental Health offers trainings throughout Ohio, including gatekeepers’ training programs and an annual webinar series.

We also provide free collegiate mental health-related webinars and in-person trainings, as well as technical assistance to any Ohio public or private not-for-profit institution of higher education.
Livingworks Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST)
Join us on Thursday, March 23rd, 2023, and Friday, March 24th, 2023, in Columbus, Ohio for LivingWorks Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST)! This training opportunity will be free, and lunch will be provided on both days. Space is limited! Request for CEU application is pending!
ASIST training is a two-day in-person workshop featuring powerful audiovisuals, discussions, and simulations. At a LivingWorks ASIST workshop, you’ll learn how to prevent suicide by recognizing signs, providing a skilled intervention, and developing a safety plan to keep someone alive.
Two knowledgeable, supportive trainers will guide you through the course, ensuring your comfort and safety.
The training sessions will take place from 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM each day. The trainings will be hosted at:
