NEOMED Alumna Wins Association of Women Surgeons Research Madness
The Association of Women Surgeons recently held its annual Research Madness medical student/resident research competition and a Northeast Ohio Medical University College of Medicine alumnus proved to be victorious.
Celine Soriano, M.D. (’18), a surgical resident at Virginia Mason Medical Center in Seattle, Wash. won first place for her research presentation titled “Feasibility of injected indocyanine green for ureteral identification during robotic colorectal resections.”
AWS Research Madness is an opportunity for students, residents and fellow members of AWS to share their work to an international audience. It features multiple rounds of abstracts and presentations, which researchers may showcase through a variety of platforms.
