Tinnitus Award to NEOMED Researcher Noted in Bioengineering Publication
Bioengineer.org, which covers biotechnology news from research centers and universities around the world, reports that Jianxin Bao, Ph.D., a researcher and professor of anatomy and neurobiology at Northeast Ohio Medical University, has received a federal grant to produce the first human treatment for tinnitus, the hearing impairment experienced as ringing or buzzing in the ears.
