“All the various models that predict the spread of the coronavirus in Ohio likely involve some common data sets, such as the number of confirmed cases and the state’s population of 11.7 million,”  Angelo DeLucia, Ph.D., an associate professor of molecular virology and cancer biology at Northeast Ohio Medical University, recently told Cleveland.com.

But the rapidly changing data used in these predictive models for the COVID-19 pandemic could significantly affect the final results, DeLucia said.
