Start Your Own ECHO Program

NEOMED proudly announces that it has been designated as a training center or “Superhub” for new ECHO programs. As a newly-designated Superhub, staff are prepared to provide training to launch and support new programs.

ECHO program topics are typically healthcare-related but educational ECHOs are also welcome as long as they follow the four key ECHO program components:

• Amplification – Use technology to leverage scarce resources
• Best practice sharing to reduce disparity
• Case-based learning to master complexity
• Database provided through the ECHO website to monitor outcomes

Steps to Starting a New ECHO Program

Learn

If there is strong interest in starting a program, register for the monthly Start-your-Own ECHO Introduction to ECHO by Project ECHO Founder Dr. Sanjeev Arora and contact NEOMED Project ECHO.

Agree

Once a group of experts (a “hub”) decides ECHO is the right model for a project, the project team will enter into an agreement with Project ECHO. NEOMED Superhub can assist with this process.

Train

Training can commence after the partnership agreement is signed.

Support

Armed with knowledge and years of ECHO expert experience, NEOMED Superhub will provide support as you launch your program.
