Counseling Services

The Center for Student Wellness and Counseling Services provides free and confidential counseling services for stress, depression, sexual assault, time management, suicidal thoughts and a range of other concerns.
Hours:
- Monday through Thursday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Non-urgent Crisis
Students seeking non-urgent crisis counseling may call 330.325.6757 or email counseling@neomed.edu for an appointment.
A ULifeLine Self Evaluator and Crisis Text Line is provided online for those thinking of getting help.
Urgent Crisis
Students seeking immediate crisis counseling may walk in anytime during normal business hours. If you are experiencing an emotional or psychiatric crisis and are unable to reach a NEOMED counselor, please contact Community Crisis Resources.

Inclusivity Center
The Inclusivity Center allows for various diversity and inclusion activities (meetings, speakers, events, etc.), as well as, diversity related resources. The center provides a space for all students, faculty and staff who partake in its offerings to feel a sense of belonging, engaged, and valued.

Meditation Room
The Meditation Room is designed to promote wellness and offers a number of options to assist in reducing stress and restoring balance. The room features a light therapy box, relaxation CDs, a Shiatsu heated massage chair and more.
