Association of Pathology Chairs Selects Sanika Satoskar
Sanika Satoskar, a third-year student in the College of Medicine, has been selected as a 2022 Society of ’67 Thomas D. Kinney Scholar by the Association of Pathology Chairs (APC).
The Thomas D. Kinney Scholars Program provides medical students and pathology residents with opportunities to familiarize themselves with a career in pathology and gain insight from national leaders in the field. The APC board selects students who have demonstrated academic excellence and the potential for leadership in academic pathology, along with a strong interest to pursue a career in academic pathology.
Students selected for the scholars program attend the APC 2022 Annual Meeting in Chicago and participate in several activities to gain further insight into innovative approaches in academic pathology practice; to learn about advocacy and outreach efforts for pathology and laboratory medicine stakeholders; and to interact with leaders in the field of academic pathology.
