TEDxNEOMED: Kevin Dieter Wishes You a Bas Sona

When Kevin Dieter, M.D. (’85) wishes you a bas sona – a blessed death, in Old Irish – it makes sense if you realize that hospice and palliative care have been at the center of work for three decades for this physician, who also serves as a clinical associate professor in the Department of Family and Community Medicine at NEOMED and was recently inducted into the NEOMED Master Teacher Guild.

Dr. Dieter, who helped to develop a nationally recognized palliative care curriculum, spoke on the inaugural TEDxNEOMED, organized by a team of College of Medicine students led by third-year student Nupur Goel and presented in October 2021.
