The Distinguished Alumni Award is presented to an individual who has made distinguished contributions to the practice of pharmacy or who has demonstrated major accomplishments in a professional pharmacy practice or in pharmaceutical research and development.
Dr. Divoky shared his thoughts on receiving the award:
“The Distinguished Alumni Award is incredibly humbling to receive. This award is the culmination of the continued efforts and positive influences that my mentors invested in me since I began my pharmacy education at NEOMED ten years ago. Each day, I find myself simply trying to pay those cherished efforts forward by helping to try to provide valuable and heartfelt service to our patients, students, residents, community, and profession. This award is unable to be accepted without saying a special thank you to University Hospitals Geauga Medical Center for having such an amazing team and for allowing me the professional latitude to serve each day as a patient advocate, residency program director, student and resident preceptor, and integrated member of the health care team as an internal medicine and ambulatory care pharmacist!”
