Outstanding Success in Residency Placements…Again!

2019 marked another excellent year for P4 students pursuing post-graduate residency training. Twenty (20) students from the Class of 2019 are continuing their education by electing to complete residency training this year. Graduates from this year were highly successful, in the very competitive residency match process placing at a 67% rate.

All of the graduates from the Class of 2019 will be staying in Ohio to provide exceptional patient care to our local communities while teaching our student pharmacists both in the classroom and the practice setting. The types of residencies include pharmacy practice, health systems administration, community, ambulatory and managed care. Additionally, we had 7 alumni from the class of 2018 who were successful in securing PGY-2 positions across the country.

All told with this class included, we now have over 170 NEOMED alumni that have pursued residency training over the past 9 years. These alumni have taken the exceptional brand of the NEOMED pharmacist and introduced it into a multitude of different practice settings across Ohio and the country.
