The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology is part of Northeast Ohio Medical University College of Medicine. The department is made up of practicing health care professionals from Northeast Ohio Medical University-affiliated hospitals throughout northeast Ohio who volunteer their time to train Northeast Ohio Medical University students. These volunteer faculty members model Northeast Ohio Medical University core values of competence, communication, caring, character and community in their daily practice and their teaching and mentoring of medical students.

Department chair

Prabhcharan Gill, M.D. is professor and chair of the the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. He is a specialist in maternal-fetal medicine and serves as the program director for the OB/Gyn residency program at Aultman Hospital.

Dr. Gill earned his medical degree from the University of Nairobi Medical School, Nairobi, Kenya. He completed his training at Aultman Hospital in Canton, OH and a fellowship in Maternal-Fetal Medicine at the University of Washington.
