Excellence in Education, Research & Service
The Department of Anatomy and Neurobiology at NEOMED seeks excellence in education, research, and service to our institution, our region and state, and the broader biomedical community.
Our research focuses on the areas of Hearing Research and Musculoskeletal Biology. In each focus area, our faculty emphasize a multidisciplinary, collaborative approach to research and training at the graduate and postdoctoral levels.
Our faculty teach throughout the medical curriculum, with major responsibilities during the first year. We strongly support graduate education through the Masters’ Program in Modern Anatomical Sciences and Ph.D. programs in Biomedical Sciences (with Kent State University) and Integrated Pharmaceutical Medicine. Our Body Donor Program and Yassine Gross Anatomy Laboratory provide regional resources for education in the anatomical sciences.
