Earn your public health graduate degree through a consortium of four major Ohio universities
The Consortium of Eastern Ohio Master of Public Health (CEOMPH) program is an accredited partnership between four universities in Eastern Ohio:
- Cleveland State University,
- Northeast Ohio Medical University (NEOMED),
- The University of Akron and
- Youngstown State University.
For working professionals
This nontraditional program is geared to the working professional who would like to broaden their role in improving community health, enhance current job skills or seek career advancement. Students take core courses that are delivered through webinar and online teaching each semester.
Unique program features:
- Distance learning (webinar and online) for the six core courses and three generalist track courses—take classes from anywhere in the U.S. or the world
- Up to five non-mandatory interaction webinar days on Saturday per semester—all other instruction is online
- Elective courses at any partner university
- Community-based projects in core courses
- Certificate options available

Admission Requirements
To be considered for admission, applicants must:
- Have earned a bachelor’s degree from an accredited U.S. institution.
- Have maintained a minimum 2.75 undergraduate GPA.
- Have met our additional requirements
ACADEMICS
MPH students in the generalist track are required to complete 42 semester credit hours, which includes six core courses, generalist track courses, electives, and a capstone project. Youngstown State University students in the nutrition track take 43 semester credit hours.
