African American/black history month
African American/Black History Month is an annual celebration taking place each February to celebrate the achievements of African Americans throughout history in the fields of science, art, politics, education, health, and more. It is also a time to pay tribute to the many generations of African Americans – past and present – who have and continue to struggle with adversity.
Embracing Diversity Series
The Embracing Diversity Series brings attention to and focus on competencies around various diverse topics and cultural issues. Through lectures, panel discussions and programs, we aim to educate and enlighten students, faculty, staff and the community.
University Diversity Council
The NEOMED Diversity Council is the central component of the University’s hybrid model structure to address diversity. The Diversity Council comprises individuals representing various areas of campus.
Diversity Awards
NEOMED is pleased to honor individuals who help promote diversity at the University and in their profession.
Days of Service
Each year, the Office of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion and Student Affairs invites the NEOMED community to join in recognition of the National Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service.
